Art of coffee, fine food and wine by Mövenpick. Mixology is a booming trend as well as its combination with haute cuisine, has been staying on the gourmet front row for the last few years.
I’m super excited about this growing culture of blending coffee into culinary and cocktails. Recently, Mövenpick presented new opportunity to experience and intensify your palates. Within the event at the 20/20 restaurant by Mövenpick, Chef David Klocksin, who was awarded 14 Gault Millau points, prepared intriguing coffee menu. I’ve learned a lot about taste combinations and consolidation of different components into perfectly balanced meals.
Furthermore, the “Brewing Bartender” Timon Kaufmann explained the principles of food pairing and mixology.
I was welcome to the presentation with a refreshing cocktail “Mövenpick Lemonade”. Below, I want to share with you the recipe of this cocktail. If you will prepare it, let me know in the comments below how you like it.
Mövenpick lemonade (nonalcoholic)
Ingredients:
- Mövenpick filter coffee (cold) – 300 ml
- Red currant juice – 50 ml
- Lemon juice – 20 ml
- Ricola Sirup – 30 ml
Method:
Prepare the coffee as usual, but change some amount of water to ice. For example: For 300 ml of coffee, brew 200 g of water on 100 g of ice. The amount of coffee remains unchanged. Put all ingredients in ice-filled glass and stir. Garnish with red currants, Ricola candy and lemon.
